James Anderson made history on the last day of his summer home against Pakistan in Southampton by becoming the first fast bowler to measure a total of 600 wickets. After making his debut as a 20-year-old wrestler against Zimbabwe at King in 2003, Anderson is England's second highest-ranking player in the longest position with 156 trousers, five behind Alastair Cook. He has been part of the English side that will win more Ashes competitions in addition to making series in India, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and Sri Lanka. He is also a robber and a leading English wicket-taker at the 269-scale ODI club.

Anderson became the first fast food eater and the fourth total to reach the 600-week wickets in Test cricket after the spin trio of Muttiah Muralitharan, Shane Warne and Anil Kumble. Anderson is the second fastest wicker to ever wicker 600 wickers in terms of curved balls despite playing most of the Tests.
