New Zealand, an island country, which has set the example in the form of COVID-19 has now offered to host ipl 2020. The offer made by New Zealand comes after Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) when they have applied to host a lucrative tournament. However it remains unclear where IPL 2020 will take place, if it is not called 0ff.
The IPL 2020 parent forum has kept various options open for the tournament to begin. A board official had earlier said that IPL 2020 could happen in India with overseas flooding. However, with the situation due to COVID-19 increasing daily in the country, a call to open its international borders will not be a viable option.
Besides other opportunities, hosting the tournament in countries such as Sri Lanka and the UAE is kept as an option. Now with New Zealand's contribution the board's handling has broader implications. It was also reported that the entire IPL 2020 could be held in the busiest city of Mumbai which gives a better idea of the number of options the board keeps open.
It is really well that every country is very such intrested in hosting ipl 2020,because each and every country know that IPL is such a craziest tournament that brings a enthusiasm throughout the tournament,So new zealand has also intrested in hosting IPL 2020.
However players health condition is very important said by bcci official.hosting ipl in india is our primary aim but if their is many more corona cases then we will try to host in overseas countries. As we see new zealand, sri lanka,UAE also offered to host IPL 2020.We will have a discussion and we will let you know, these words are said by bcci.
Few countries had shown intrested to host ipl 2020 and how ever our BCCI president sourav ganguly will have a discussion on it whole bcci team will decide where to host the IPl 2020 as soon as possible.
It was only then that the Prime Minister of New Zealand announced that their country was free of various COVID-19 cases. New Zealand was also one of the fastest countries to raise their national lock limits. However, the fate of IPL 2020 lies due to the launch of COVID-19 cases in India, the closing of positions. India is now ranked third in the world, only behind the USA and Brazil, according to COVID-19 active cases.
In addition, the epidemic has affected the planning of the 2020 T20 World Cup in Australia. With the upcoming cancellation of the tournament, a window would open in October and November of IPL 2020, with the availability of people abroad.
If IPL 2020 is cancelled because of any thng india will lose nearly 4000 crores. So our bcci is looking forward to host IPL 2020 in india itself.
